Our Sites Purpose
One purpose of our site is to showcase the quilts Cori has made and nature photographs Ron has taken. Its presence is not for the purpose of generating profits. Our intent is simply to share what we have accomplished through our hobbies; that is to show off our passion and share the outputs of our creativity. It is our hope that you'll enjoy looking at them.
The other purpose of our site is to attribute credit to where credit is due. We both firmly hold to the belief that the only reason we have the health, resources, and abilities to pursue these creative endeavors is because of God's benevolence. We view Him as our Provider, Caretaker, and Redeemer. So the reason for this site is to serve as an expression of gratefulness towards Him, as well to showcase the wonders of His creativity through images of his creation. His creation is a mere glimpse of His majesty and greatness as Creator.
Finally, the other goal of our site is to educate through photographic images. For Cori, each quilt design speaks to the recipient it was made for. Hopefully, for those that quilt, maybe one of mine will spark an idea in you for a future quilt project. For those that don't quilt, maybe it will lead you to take up the hobby. Even better, you might contact me to share some ideas that will be the genesis of a new one for me. For Ron, he hopes of the various images he is taken of each subject will provide our visitors with some new and unique, if not more detailed, perspective of nature not seen before. More importantly, it is his desire that his images will stir up a deeper appreciation for the importance of conservation, and a crucial role each one of us play in that maintenance effort.
